Dance divas, barfing babies and a fabulous four year old!

 Lucy's dance recital!
She did dances and songs from the nutcracker.
Loved going with her darling friend (seen in the black)
She did fantastic, but despite that has chosen do to swim lessons.

What a big girl she has become!

The kids and I did a Christmas craft every day.
This figure was for Charlie's snow globe, but this spider man loving boy just couldn't part with his, so we made other arrangements.

Making and decorating cookies for
the neighbor folk.

One of our many Christmas crafts. Nothing brings me more joy then watching chubby fingers clue buttons and pom-poms onto throat presses.

These cuties heard we were going to a Christmas party,
so they insisted on sporting their Christmas best. Fine by me. They looked darling!

Singing mixed with a little brotherly 'love' made for one swell and entertaining evening.

My sweet baby boy turned 4! Charlie had a birthday on December 15th. Its always a big deal to me to make extra effort to celebrate and honor Charlie, being that his birth is just 10 days before Christmas.
This year, as last, it was all things spider man!
He was thrilled with my cake, and though his themed
birthday bash was very appropriate.
Charlie. You are always thinking of others. Asking if 'Lucy would like this' or searching for treasures that Hankie may love.
He tries his best at everything he does, has great speed when he runs, and asks amazing questions that I don't know the answers to.
I love LOVE this little cute, and hope his celebration felt complete to him.

I did NOT tell him to pose like this, but I can assure you, it will be a family treasure!

Per our usual tradition, we celebrated at 'Chuck-e-Cheese'
This year Hank brought a whole new meaning to that word.
He had thrown up 3 days before, but on the way home from this adventure land,
decided to launch his cookies in the car.
It was quite the happy birthday gift to Charlie.

We had our favorites, the Rowells, over to celebrate Charlies big day.
Complete with a treasure hunt, hot dogs, cake  and ice cream.

 Playing with his bestie, Logan.
Its so fun to see him, and his first friend.

Salt Lake City, here we come!
The day after Charlies birthday, we packed the car, and made the trek to
the Valley, Utah.
We celebrated a successful journey by spending the morning @ Discovery Gateway.
(The ride was not with out emergency stops, tornado winds, blizzards and record speeds)
but we lived to tell about it.

More on our trip to come.
On a final note,
we were in awe
as we drove into Utah. Through Coalville, down through Parleys.
My heavens!! Those mountains!
It takes being away for 3 YEARS to appreciate their beauty, but those Utah mountains, there truly are none other on earth like it!

Surprise Guests, Parties and BIG TIME catch up

Happy Birthday to my cutie cute.
Jeff celebrated his birthday, and we welcomed chocolate chocolate doughnuts for a cake!

ARE YOU KIDDING!!>!>!>
My mom was coming to town, and surprised me by bringing my sister AUDREY from San Diego!
She is as much like 'Glenda the Good Witch' as anyone I know!
She is adored, liked, loved, helpful, happy, funny, fun and we LOVED her surprise, and cherished the time with her!

What we do with grannie when she comes to town....clean clean clean.
(and she says she doesn't mind my messy house.....)

I organized a craft day @ my casa.
Some of the girls that came!
Super fun tradition to start.

Love me my family!

My kids LOVE stories from grannie, and can never get enough.
Home made pasta, home made doughnuts, home made marinara, quite the birthday celebration for Jeff.

This picture is every thing why I love Audrey.
We played games, ate way to much, watched movies, dined out....
just had way to much fun

Red Rock Amphitheater.

Pizza @ our favorite Idaho Springs restaurant!

The cutest pilgrim I have ever seen.
Unfortunately when grannie came to town, we all got sick.
She missed preschool, but was able to go to the program, in her beautiful Christmas dress made by grannie. ;)

Moments I don't want to forget!
Driving the 'bus' on the kitchen floor' and
Hanks obsession for all things fireman, pictured here.

These little cuties. They spend hours in these laundry bins.
Book reading, and story telling.

The making of the turkeys for Thanksgiving Feast.

Our 'Stay Cation'
we were desperate to have an adventure.
So, we headed out to be tourists in Down Town denver.
Rode the train down,
toured the Firefighters Museum,  and finished the night with
a pizza party and a movie.

Phew.
Bad chatch up, but someone had to do it.
The jest of it, I am deeply in love with my family!
Until next time. :)
