Did a bit of sight seeing at 'Garden of the Gods' and soaked up the sunshine.
From there, we went to cheer on the local Navy's Bball team!
It was a small area, and perfect length and size/noise volume for the kids to really see and enjoy the game.
Oh, and Garden of the Gods was pretty spectacular!
These two boys are my buddies!!
I am LOVING the time I get to spend with them, as Lucy attends preschool.
They don't know it yet, but they will be best friends. :)
How cute are they?
Jeff took Luce to a father daughter dance at her preschool/community center.
She LOVED spending time with Jeff, and sounds like between the prizes, crafts and food, it was a huge success.
Lucy and her darling Valentines Day Program.
Sang some cute songs, which she knew and performed so well.
It Snowed. And then it snowed snowed snowed!!!! So much, that church was canceled, and it left days of fun. Of corse, it all melted within a few days, as they say it does, but it was well enjoyed!
Oh the fun we have at thrift stores!
Trikes, toys and so much fun. PLUS, you'll always find something you don't need, right?
Charlie eating what's left of our Valentines Day dinner.
Jeff and I did celebrate, but that night was an evening
that we enjoyed together, as a family..
The kids and I spent a morning @ the Denver Puppet Theater.
Its some hole in the wall company, thats run by one lady, and it was FANTASTIC!!!
We gladly gave them our moula, AND bought a punch pass.
As far as I'm concerned, we don't have enough places like this around, and I'd hate to ever see such a gem be lost in our technology thriving/instant gratification society.
The tickets into the theater...you were given your own puppet, which you had to decorate with stickers, glue, markers, stamps, paint, glitter....LOVE THIS!
Hank! Such a character!
LOVES all things girly, pretty and fancy, but still manages to squeeze in a bit of manly accent.
Thats m'boy.
Presidents day!!!
I LOVE that Jeff gets all the 'forgotten' holidays off like Veterans Day and Columbus Day...which leaves a lot of time for FUN!
We took the kids to a community center in Arvada.
This place was AMAZING!!
I may have had more fun then the kids.
The pool was like water world on steroids!!!
Since the kids have been taking swim lessons, water has become second nature to them.
It has been said by many that this was 'the most fun day, ever'
After swimming our hearts out, we finished the day off at our favorite pizza place.
Happy Hour Pizza, $10 bucks feeds the fam, with 2 PIZZAS!
Look at this place. Tube slides, tunnel slides (over to the left) hot tubs, lap pools, lazy river, and shown here, the children's area. We cannot WAIT to go back!
The Denver train show. The boys loved it, and Lucy was mostly disappointed in the fact
that we didn't do a train ride or face painting...what can I say? Rip-OFF.
