Back to SCHOOL!!!!!
Lucy, 7 2st grade    Charlie 6, 1st grade     Hank, 5, half day kindergarten
Makes my heart so sad that they are ALL gone, every day, for at least half the day. I figured this time would come, but I always thought they would seem so much older, and that I would be ready for it. Not true. Not true one bit!!

Labor Day, last camping trip of the year. Up to Steam Boat Springs with some friends and kids
SOOOOooo much fun!!

Not actually the warmest time to run the river, but they are kids, so didn't bother them one bit! !

An evening hike, for a picnic dinner, before the weather officially cooled off.

And then, this little girl turned 8!! What an amazing child! Lucy is thoughtful, helpful, kind, cheerful, energetic. She is way to hard on herself, and demands perfection the first time, but has made every lonely girl at school feel included, excels at reading, and truly is the best daughter I could dream of!

                                                                     Halloween!!
Our little Indian, ADORABLE, Dracula, Charlie! And puppy, for the 2nd year!

Rockin out for a halloween party!! Look close and you'll see tats,
                                                                                       on Jeff and me!

                                                       Lucy bear got baptized!
The only family we had were grandparents.
However, room was in overflow because of all the friends,
adopted grandparents, teachers, who came to show love and
support! I was overwhelmed with their kindness,
generosity and love for us and Lucy!
                                                          We had a fantastic night!

Our week long adventure down south.
Mesa Verde
Durango
Telluride
Silverton.......
SO.MUCH.FUN

The great miners tour, actually went miles into a mine!! Kids were cold and scared. (As was I ;)

Four corners!! Wishing Lucy and I could be in the same state again!!

We had an amazing time in Mesa Verde! SO much history down
there, a different life that was so interesting to learn about.

Due to the hot weather, there were fire restrictions.
This did not stop our quest for s'mores!

The ciy of Durango! Jeff had a meeting, and the kids
toured the local attractions, rode on the bike trails, and
swam in the city center park. Fun little city.

Another mine. This time it was abandoned.

The alligator farm, in isolated, rural colorado.
Quite a unique and unusual place, but so cool to see!

We had fantastic weather, great luck, and such a good time on our journey south!
