LS, BL and SCHOOL

Colorado has 2 amusement parks!! One, the former 6 flags (now Elitch Gardens) And, Lakeside.
Lakeside is what every adult imagines when they think of their childhood amusement parks.
Abandoned.
Run down.
Old.
Lifeless.
Rickety......But, Lakeside not only has these qualities, but it is Timeless. Classic. Historical. Unique....
We took our kids there, and I really think we had more fun then they did!

They had a blast in the 'kiddie land' and then it was time to bring on the big boys!!
This was about 30 min before bigger rides open, in the main park.
 Seeing if they measure up.
Yes, we totally had Charlie stand on his tippies to qualify. (like you wouldnt' have done the same!)

 OK!!!! First official rollercoaster ride!!
I haven't ridden in about 10 years. Now I remember why.
I was good for about one ride before I felt sick. Ahhhh, sure brought back many childhood memories.

Hank was spent!! And this wasn't even past bed time. Poor little trooper.

BEAR LAKE!!!!
We ventured to Utah to spend a week with Sanders @ Bear Lake.
They go every year, and we hadn't been in 3 years.
We were so excited to go, and so glad we did!

We got there a day before cousins, so we had Grandma and Grandpa all to ourselves. Yippie.

We did some beach exploring, as well as went to a local cave!
40 degrees in there, year round.
They say winder time its quite a cozy place, but my toes were blue when we got out!

Yep! Looks about right for camping.

Jeff taking the trouble makers out.....
That would be Hank and Marin.

We got to max speed....50 mph. Lucy was the one who requested it! My type of gal.

Could not get enough cousin time!! And, not to mention the BEACH!

Charlie dropped the TP, and before I knew what had happened, I asked him to just pick it up.
Well, turns out he was pulling the toilet paper, so that he COULD pick it up.
Lets just say we then had a TP shortage. Oh well. Charlie was well cleaned. :)

My Best friends are leaving me!!!
Honestly, the hardest part of my mothering experience has not been having 3 babies under the age of 2, all just a year appart. Poopy, diaper bums, for 3 SOLID YEARS, the constant feedings....
By FAR- the hardest part has been them growing up, becoming more independent, and leaving me.
They truly have become my best friends, and I'm absolutely devastated to see them go off to school.
NO, I didn't cry, but I sure miss them when they're gone!

When I grow up I want to be 'A space ranger (aka astronaut) and a Ninja Turtle.
Charlie goes to this amazing church school just near our house.
We have fallen IN LOVE with his amazing teachers, and the entire orginization!

First day on the bus.
