Hank turns 3!

The boys and I adventured to the Natural History Museum.
Although quite smaller in size then the Smithsonian Museums (in DC)
it still had some really educational exhibits, and I LOVED spending time with my little cutes.

We had a fun little party with some friends to celebrate.
After changing the cake, 3 times, Hank settled on a fire truck birthday cake.
He ended up loving it, and with his new 'guitard' for his birthday, even wrote a song about it.
'My race cars Lightening McQueen- and my birthday cake can't drive'

Hank has been such joy! From when he was little, we called him happy Hank, and although the name hasn't stuck, the title sure has. He's not cranky for long, and can usually worm a smile out of you if he does something that upsets you. Hes ALWAYS yappin about something, LOVES anything construction, fireman, race cars, and cottage cheese. Oh Hank, we can't imagine life without you, and are so gald your in our family!

One of the MANY projects that got done on my 'to do' list.
the recycled headboard, from an old door.
Not sure I'll keep the white, but loving the look of the guest room.

Just another reminder that although they are getting big,
not quite tall enough to make cookies on their own.
